What I do

I help adults and young adults who struggle with trauma, anxiety, perfectionism, burnout, and feeling overwhelmed or stuck in patterns they understand but have difficulty changing. Many of my clients are thoughtful and self-aware but still find themselves overthinking, being hard on themselves, people-pleasing, shutting down, or reacting in ways that don't match how they logically understand a situation. I also work with neurodivergent clients and people exploring ADHD or autism who want to better understand how their brains work, mask less, manage overwhelm and burnout, and build lives that feel more sustainable and authentic.

Who I commonly work with

I often work with adults and young adults who have experienced trauma or difficult past experiences and notice that these continue to affect their emotions, relationships, self-esteem, or sense of safety. They may struggle with anxiety, hypervigilance, perfectionism, self-criticism, people-pleasing, boundaries, emotional overwhelm, or shutting down. Many of my clients have a lot of insight into themselves and can explain why they do something but feel frustrated that understanding the pattern hasn't necessarily changed it. I also commonly work with ADHD and autistic clients, including people diagnosed later in life or beginning to explore whether they may be neurodivergent.

Services I offer

I provide individual therapy for adults and young adults who are struggling with trauma and PTSD, anxiety and overthinking, perfectionism, burnout, emotional regulation, self-esteem, people-pleasing and boundaries, relationship patterns, life transitions, and ADHD or autism.

I also provide EMDR therapy for clients who want to process traumatic or distressing experiences that continue to affect them in the present.

This work is often a good fit for people who want:

  • Therapy that balances deeper emotional work with practical tools and strategies

  • To understand why they respond the way they do rather than simply being told how to stop

  • To work through trauma at a pace that feels manageable and collaborative

  • To be less controlled by anxiety, perfectionism, guilt, or self-criticism

  • To better understand their emotions, nervous system, or neurodivergence

  • A therapist who is warm, curious, engaged, and direct

  • To build more trust in themselves and live in a way that feels more authentic and sustainable

This might not be the best fit if you're:

  • Needing crisis-level or emergency care

  • Looking for court-mandated treatment or forensic services

  • Wanting a therapist who will tell you exactly what decisions to make

  • Wanting a highly structured or strictly manualized approach

  • Only interested in short-term coping skills without exploring the patterns underneath them
