What I do

I help queer, neurodivergent adults who are struggling with the complexities of navigating systems that are not built for them and want to work toward greater compassion and understanding of themselves and their nervous systems.

Who I commonly work with

I often work with adults who are trauma survivors, queer, neurodivergent (especially adults diagnosed later in life), and adults in non-traditional relationships (especially kink and ethical non-monogamy). I also work with adults experiencing OCD and addiction. I work from an eclectic perspective and utilize several modalities, including Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Internal Family Systems (IFS).

Services I offer

I provide individual and couples therapy for queer neurodivergent adults who experience PTSD, OCD, substance use disorder, and for those struggling to navigate a neurotypical world.

If you’re here because you identify as LGBTQ+ or want to explore this identity further, start here- https://www.gettingrealcc.com/lgbtq

This work is often a good fit for people who want:

  • therapy that focuses on nervous system regulation

  • a trauma-, queer-, neurodivergent-, and anticapitalist-informed lens

  • to show humor and are able to laugh about their situation or laugh at themselves while also not completely avoiding their emotions

This might not be the best fit if you’re:

  • needing crisis-level care

  • wanting a highly structured, manualized treatment

  • wanting very quick or short-term therapy

  • offended by someone with blue hair and pronouns

I am a licensed clinical social worker in Georgia and I work with adults in individual and couple sessions that can be in-person or online. Services are private pay or with Blue Cross/ Blue Shield (BCBS), Aetna, United, Student Resources or Cigna insurances.
